During my recent visit to Salzburg, I had the pleasure of dining at Triangel, a charming restaurant renowned for its exceptional culinary offerings. The highlight of my experience was the traditional Salzburg pork cutlet, expertly prepared and served with a delightful side of rice and a tantalizing berry jam. This dish perfectly encapsulated the rich, authentic flavors of Austrian cuisine, making it an unforgettable part of my meal.
Beyond the exquisite food, what truly set Triangel apart was its warm and welcoming service. The staff were not only exceptionally kind but also demonstrated a genuine eagerness to ensure a comfortable and memorable dining experience. This level of care and attention added a special touch to the already wonderful atmosphere.
Moreover, the pricing at Triangel is surprisingly moderate, considering the high quality of the food and service. This aspect only enhanced my overall satisfaction, as it’s rare to find such a perfect balance of price, quality, and hospitality.
In summary, Triangel is a must-visit for anyone seeking a genuine taste of Salzburg’s traditional cuisine, served in a friendly and inviting environment. It’s a culinary gem that truly reflects the heart and soul of Austrian hospitality.
Lovely little resto. Food was really good! The inside feels like your at home. Good beer as well. If your in the area check it out.
I had salad which is a bit overpriced but the pork belly that my bf ordered was quite good and crispy. I don’t know if it’s the hot weather but the guy who served us was not very pleasing.
Managed to get an outside table to have lunch here on Saturday, first impressions were good, had the traditional Wiener Schnitzel with seasoned new potatoes, salad and cranberry sauce which was lovely. It however wasn't worth the price, you could probably find the same dish much cheaper in the vicinity. The waiter spoiled the overall experience though as he was abrupt throughout and very rude at the end. He certainly didn't deserve any tip!
Great cooking we had some of the best french fries of our life and believe me it was really good ( as a french person ). The staff was caring and professional. We liked the beers we tasted also on my side the unfiltered one. We really made great memories with this restaurant for an easter weekend discovery moment.
Hit or miss with the order. Braised pork belly was good with an oriental taste, but the 'veal' dish ( more like beef) is tough to eat. Carrot+ginger+chilli soup was great.
Food served in a heart's beat time with good service from the waiters.
One of the staff was incredibly rude from the very beginning. As if he discriminates any body who doesnt speak german. He would talk over us at times. Even the food was decent I absolutely do not recommend anybody going especially you ate paying 40-50€ pp for a meal
I am until today shocked that “Salzburger Schnitzel” is a decent, stuffed Schitzel with dry, flavourless bagged white rice. It firmly remains our worst Schnitzel experience to date.Friendly, helpful staff, and the other dishes were ok.
This was the weakest of the 6 Austrian restaurants in Salzburg: 3.5/5
